In 1996, BBA established an off-campus college textbook store servicing Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, AR. Our mission was superior customer service, a large used book inventory, and low prices. BBA grew five additional stores over the next six years, increasing market share while learning to navigate the campus environment.
Our off campus brand, Textbook Brokers, was established as the alternative for textbook sales at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. That brand would become the name synonymous with affordable textbooks.
In the early 2000’s, BBA started development of a custom POS and was one of the first college textbook companies to utilize e-commerce as a tool. Throughout the years, BBA has been an innovator in the college textbook market, which led to our rapid growth.
We now service over 100 colleges and universities in 24 states, including 30 on-campus locations. From those humble beginnings, we have grown into the third largest college textbook company in the United States.
BBA Solutions knows the best way to make a charitable impact is to do so at the local level. We ask our customers and institution partners to let us know where donations can make a difference. In this regard, we have donated both time and money to local chapters of well-known organizations such as: Habitat for Humanity, the Ronald McDonald House and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. We have also donated to lesser known charities such as: YEAH Youth Empowerment, CWNT Football Camps, and Community Connections.
We at BBA understand that meaningful community outreach is more than just monetary assistance. We encourage our team of associates to offer their valuable time by working with local college campuses in sponsoring events that raise issue awareness. Our stores also work with a diverse grouping of community entities. Such entities include: child advocacy groups, the performing arts, and scholarship pageants. We believe in prioritizing the needs of campus and community leaders alike.

As global warming awareness and other environmental issues steadily increase so does the amount of institutions ready to face these challenges head on. Here at BBA Solutions, we understand the effort made to meet the terms of commitment put forth the by the ACUPCC, therefore, we stand ready, in compliance, to assist our partners in reaching climate neutrality.
Our original business model is mainly dependent on the repurposing process of recycling. By reusing, reselling, and donating to Better World Books, we extend the lifespan of a textbook, meanwhile, creating an affordable option for students to offset the escalating costs of higher education.
